Amherst pedestrian fatality

At about 11 a.m. in Amherst, today, Sept. 11, a school van exiting Crocker Farm School, at 280 West St., struck and killed a female pedestrian.
Amherst police, Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office, MSP Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section (CARS), and MSP Crime Scene Services are investigating.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
