The White Ribbon Pledge
Franklin County Technical School students, community members, local and state officials took the White Ribbon Pledge in downtown Greenfield on April 10, 2015.
The Office of Northwestern District Attorney David E. Sullivan; Jane Doe, Inc. and organizations across the state support the White Ribbon Campaign, an international campaign to end violence against women and girls established in 1989 after a gunman opened fire and killed 14 female engineering students in Montreal, Canada.
The NWDA works with students, faculty and staff to advance the campaign and encourage students to take the White Ribbon Pledge in schools throughout the Northwestern District. The NWDA also has sponsored student White Ribbon Campaign video contests.
