South Hadley woman continues to be held as dangerous in connection with Dec. 23-24 incident in Leverett

Rie Hachiyanagi, 48, of South Hadley, will continue to be held in the Franklin County House of Correction without bail, following a dangerousness hearing, Feb. 19, in Franklin Superior Court.
She is scheduled for a pretrial hearing in Franklin Superior Court on April 22.
Hachiyanagi was arraigned Feb. 12 on three counts of armed assault to murder a person over 60 and other charges in connection with a Dec. 23-24 incident in Leverett.
She is also charged with three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, one count of mayhem, one count of home invasion, and one count of entering a dwelling at night to commit a felony.
