The mission of the Citizens Advisory Board is to advise and assist the Office of the Northwestern District Attorney in the areas of community outreach and education, crime prevention, community prosecution, civic engagement, social justice and civil rights issues.
Some of the activities and events Citizens Advisory Board members have been involved in include the Oct. 5, 2013 Valley Gun Buy Back, April 2012 Underage Drinking Prevention Conference, November 2012 Safe School Summit; May 1, 2013 Law Day and 2013 Stand Against Racism, among others.
