NWDA argues before Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court today
NWDA Special Prosecutor Brett Vottero argued before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court today that Anthony Baye, accused of setting a series of fires in Northampton on Dec. 27, 2009 -- one of which resulted in the deaths of a father and son -- voluntarily confessed to the crime.
Judge Constancy Sweeney has ruled that a 10-hour-long videotape of Baye being interviewed can be used as evidence at his trial. Baye's defense attorneys have asked the SJC to reverse her decision.

The court is expected to return a decision within 130 days.
